Is it okay to throw it down the drain it the UK? I don't want to release any eggs from these savage little beasties into the environment if they are going to damage the local ecosystem.

Dear Mr Brown. It’s clear to me

Nu-Labour’s been a blast,

But, I have to say, I’ll enjoy the day,

When you are gone, at last.

The economy is in a mess,

For which we all must pay,

Though the gap between the rich and poor,

Gets wider every day.

You fought the war on terror,

Kept us safe and sound and free,

Till even judges cry,

There is threat to liberty.

You let MPs steal our cash,

To build moats and swimming pools,

Money that should have been spent,

On hospitals and schools.

Now, I hear you broke the law,

Went to war against the rules,

But then we already knew that,

You took us all for fools.

One day soon I get to vote,

I hope it’s not the last,

For laws are changing faster,

Than I’ve ever seen the passed.

But one thing still bothers me,

The opposition sometimes shared your view,

So tell me Mr Brown, who is there really,

To keep me safe from you?

The new x-ray backscatter scanners planned for UK airports expose the body to the same radiation as 1.5 hours of background radiation at sea level. Your average chest x-ray in hospital exposes the body to the same radiation as 10 days, or 240 hours, of background radiation.

On doing some simple maths this means that if you travel through a scanner twice a day you will be getting an equivalent extra dose of 1095 hours of background radiation or four and a half chest x-rays a year, and people who work on aircraft already have elevated radiation exposure from cosmic radiation on aircraft which is monitored using flying hours.

Now that the controversy surrounding the MMR vaccine has largely been discredited, should parents have the right not to vaccinate their children? Doctors can intervene on behalf of children being denied medical treatment by parents through the courts. Should the same happen to parents denying their children potentially life saving vaccinations?

Which is correct.

Currently the UK insists that pet dogs entering our country have had a blood test to prove that their rabies inoculation has worked. The EU will soon be deciding if we will be allowed to maintain that extra level of protection. Anyone have an opinion on that?
