when is a good time to eat?

i just recently joined a gym and i go at night....should i be eating before i go or after? and if after should it be a snack or a meal?

    Since you are going to the gym at night, I would not advise you eat a meal afterward. Eat a light snack afterward, but only if you are hungry.

    Try to do most of your eating around breakfast time, mid-morning and at lunch. Then lightly snack as needed until its time for your work out, that way you will not be full and weighed down.

    I think a meal would be good after because if you eat before you may get a stomach ac.
