  • Who likes when the people you're talking to can hold up a conversation?

I love when people can actually have a decent conversation about whatever. When I get a text back that says "lol" or "haha" or "lmao" and that's it, I just stop answering. What do I say to that? Is there anyone out there who just likes to talk?!

Any teenagers out there who know how to have a real conversation and wants to talk on AIM?

  • I've been trusted but I think I need to tell .. ?

Please help! Very serious question here, guys. One of my best friends entrusted to me that she sent nudies to an older guy who she barely knows and I think she's too young for that. I'm not going to say ages but she isn't old enough. Do you think I should tell my or her parents? I don't want them to leak all over the internet and her getting in trouble and everything but its really hard to tell your parents that .

  • What layer of your skin is white?

Today I had a little accident in which i scraped my shin on a diving board and cut into my skin. It was all white like i hit the bone (but i obviously didnt). Do you know what layer of your skin is paperwhite? If any? My doctor said it would be okay, but I'm just curious.

  • Does anybody know .... ?

Does anyone know the origin or meaning of the girl's name, Elyon?

I'm want to use it in a book and would like to know the meaning since I can't find it anywhere. If the meaning fits the character I will probably use it, if not, well, I like it so I might use it anyway. (=

    Thanks!

  • White screen on iPod touch?

I have a second generation iPod touch and it died on me so I plugged it into my computer and iTunes popped up and said it was charging. I turned on my iPod because you can use it while it's charging, but the screen just came up white like when you take a screenshot. I tried to power it off but nothing would come up no matter how long I held down the buttons. The white screen will stay for a while and then change to a dim grey. I looked up some stuff on the internet and people said to restore it.

What happens when you restore it? All I know is that the original settings go back like when you first had the iPod and then the songs "and stuff " will go back. What about your apps? I have a lot on there and I have them just how I like them, should I restore it or just wait until tomorrow and see what happens?

  • Would it be illegal too ... ?

Is it illegal to write "stop" in white chalk on the road. like this: http://img2.photographersdirect.com/img/19309/wm/p... if it was in your own neighborhood? Me and my friend thought it would be funny, but we will NOT do it if we could get in trouble. If it is, we're going it on our own driveways (= lol. Thanks for all answers ...

  • What are some popular sayings where you live?

I'm really mad because I used to say "rawr" and "yuppers" and all kinds of things but they weren't popular. Suddenly all my old sayings got extremely popular and lots of Upstate New Yorkers say it (at least where I live) . Anyway, me and my friend decided to experiment and we're going to bring popular sayings from other parts of the USA/the world and see if they get popular next week.

    What's popular where you live?

    ex) "epic" "rawr" "slick" etc.

    Thanks!

  • The coolest mythical creatures ever?

What is the coolest mythical creature ever? Or what is the strangest one you've ever heard of? Your favorite?

P.S. Obviously since books like Twilight are ALL OVER THE PLACE, I'd rather if people didn't automatically put vampires and werewolves even after other people answered with that one. Those two are obvious.

    Thanks!

  • How do you pronounce in Arabic?!?

Can you help? How do you pronounce the word "gold" in Arabic and the word "turquoise" in Arabic.

    I know the spellings:

    Gold: الذهب

    Turq:الفيروز

But i have no idea how to pronounce. If you can help thanks. If you give me some answer that has no relation to the question, prepare to be thumbs-downed or reported. (hate doing that but answers like 'idk' are SO ANNOYING)

  • Fastest way to get from NYC to Boston?

Would it be faster to take a plane from Manhattan, NYC to Boston? Or would it just be easier to take a train? Cost is not a worry, I would just like an approximate guess of how long it would take by plane or train.

    Thank you!

P.S. I'm not going there myself, its for a project.

  • You know that commercial....?

The commercial that goes "Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday everyday..." or something and it has those synchronized women with yellow suits on that has days of the week and then one person steps out and gets into one of the hot tubs, and I think its about birth control or something? Do you know whats its for, like what kind of birth control or whatever. I'm not gonna use the birth control or anything, but I have to know what the commercial is.

    Thanks!

  • Quotation Mark or not?

At the beginning of a new "moment" you don't indent, I've noticed that in all of my books. But, what do you do if the person starts it off by talking? Okay, that doesnt make much sense, but in a book i have to read for school, Killing Mr. Griffin, chapter two starts off like...

Well, why don't we then?" Mark asked him.

My question is would you put a " mark in front of the w in well or not? would it be correct? I'm not sure because I think I've seen it done in other books but...
