Which hair color for a character?
Red -or- Blonde?
Automatically people will probably say blonde because that's more popular but you have to look at the people...

Which one do you think is a better character? Her name is Catherine and she's very simple andmeanish/tough.
I know exactly how Catherine is and everything about her, I even have her entire life story down on paper and the computer. And what she looks like is actually very important to the story and its the last thing I've decided. You can always go back and change those little details.

Red! The first girl's hair is stereotypical, but the girl with the read hair looks mean & witchy which fits your description.

I know everybody else already said it but I think that for a girl that's suppose to be mean red would be better. Based on that picture she looks like the type of girl who is a cheerleader and has that 'If you aren't popular get away from me.' look about her. The blonde one seems more innocent I guess.... Anyway it's up to you!

Red hair because when I think of blondes I think of nice popular girls. Red hair sounds good for your character with a tough attidtude. I don't have anything against red heads or blondes I just think it would be better for your character. :)

Of the 2; I would say, the red head. But, how do you picture the character? (fyi: I picture her dark.) It is YOUR character so go with what rings true for you.

Hair color isn't important. Right now, I'd suggest you work on developing your characters more: what their personalities are like, their strengths and weaknesses, etc. Then after all that is down, focus on their looks.

well when you see mean girls in movies and books they are usually blond. (i have nothing against blond)
but i think that she should have red hair.

im different but i think the red head
