How many answer questions in only one category?
Out of a group of 99 YA! participants:
59 answer math questions,
61 answer chemistry questions,
44 answer math and chemistry questions,
1 answers math, physics and chemistry questions,
22 answer physics questions,
7 answer math and physics questions,
4 answer physics and chemistry questions.
1) How many answer questions in only one of the categories, chemistry, physics, math?
2) How many answer no questions in these categories?

Only in Math = Total Math - Total Math & Chem - Total Math & Physics + Total Math, Physics & Chem = 59 - 44 - 7 + 1 = 9
Only in Physics = Total Physics - Total Physics & Chem - Total Physics & Math + Total Physics, Math & Chem = 22 - 4 -7 + 1 = 12
Only in Chem = Total Chem - Total Math & Chem - Total Chem & Physics + Total Chem, Physics & Math = 61 - 44 - 4 + 1 = 14

Students in Math, Physics & Chem
= 9+12+14 + (7-1) + (44-1) + (4-1) + 1
=35+6+43+3+1
= 88
Total Y!A Participants = 99
So 99-88 = 11 answer no questions in Math, Physics or Chem
