Trump said he was going to get 95 percent of the African-American vote by 2020. How does he plan on accomplishing this?

Trump is the political Sham-wow guy. It's sales pitch hyperbole. Biggest! Best Ever! Greatest!
It's not a lie or a valid prediction; it's just hype.
And it is sad that some people are unable to understand that. They're so dull they probably voted for Hillary.

I would address liberal maintained black neighborhoods, cities. I would tariff imports, attack free trade and get jobs back into places like Detroit. I would encourage businesses with special tax breaks to try to make them invest in what has been abandoned while pretending to care about the people. Get businesses back in empty buildings.
Liberals boast that California has a strong economy but why is it strong? It's due to geography, specifically the seaports. The desire to make products abroad with dirt cheap labor. It's almost as selfish as slavery, helping only the rich to get richer off the backs of the dirt poor. Places like Detroit and the inland states with no economy are suffering because we shipped their jobs overseas to support the rich.
I don't have a lot of faith in Trump or the rest of the government. Red and blue team allowed this to happen before trump arrived, they want this. Even if Trump desires progress on this will anyone else help? But I do see a path to win over Black America: it's offer them a real path not a welfare check. Black America migrated north to Detroit years ago because there was a path.
Pacifying Black America without actually helping them can't last forever anyways. How many times can they vote blue and never see positive change. Eventually that jig will be up.
I've been quick to criticize the poor for not trying hard enough. I started at the very bottom so I reserve that that right to criticize. But the first ten rungs are missing from the ladder today. It's a big ol leap from nothing to something without any lower level jobs and trades. What are you to do in Detroit when your government paves a path to 3rd world labor? Run out and get a $40,000 degree and move to California? Become poor again so you can qualify for school aid? The middle class is vanishing, day by day I become poorer and soon I will qualify for school aid and start to climb again, woo-hoo, yeah. I don't think I have that in me, I may have to accept being poor and collecting my welfare check. But not to worry the rich are getting richer.

As far as I can tell the GOP plan is to remove most of the minorities off of the voter rolls.

It makes no difference what percentage he really gets. Trump lives in his own fantasy land and will just say whatever he wants about the percentage.

Did you know that Russian hackers targeted African American communities with lie after lie in their propaganda ads?
Maybe trump thinks that they will fall for the nonsense again.
NOT!

Doesn’t need their votes. They like to think they’re important but they’re not.
