Do I a have a fetish for curves?

Look I have always had a thing for girls who weren't fat but weren't skinny either (there's nothing wrong with thin and chubby girls). Even before the whole big *** pretty face thing, I've always had a thing for curvy girls. I can't really explain it but that's always been my preference. I mean I told a friend of mine who's a psych major (and was apparently using me as Guinea pig) and he told me that I fetishize curves? Is he right?

I wouldn't worry about whether you're fetishising this. Most people have a personal preference for certain body types, and that's totally normal. If you wish to define the 'type' you are sexually attracted to, this should only be seen as a useful 'guideline'.

I think that western sexuality overly focuses on fetishes. You may be suuuuuuupppper into chubby chicks, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it a fetish unless you cannot orgasm without the influence (real or imaginary) of an overweight woman.

For a real life example, I like women with long, dark, straight hair. If we assume  that 50% of the women I am attracted to meet that description, I think that would show that I prefer this kind of woman, but I am also attracted to other attractive people. Therefore I would not call this preference a fetish, because one can ignore it and still be sexually satisfied.
