hw to measure and react on heat without sensing unit touching?

Mise à jour:

I have a contraption build to help me building (welding) another contraptions. at the moment hot air heater preheats board and relays on me constantly checking temperature. I am looking for something like infra-red thermostat which would switch heater of when heat reaches temperature in a measured point.

just to specify I need something which switches of automatically when temperature is reached
