Cattle, by far, especially beefers. All you need to do is set them to graze your pastures and rotate graze them so that you preserve your pastures and grass. With cows, just put a bull with them and let them do their thing. With pigs, they always need to be fed a meal that caters to their needs since they're omnivores, not herbivores like cows are, provided water to wade in if there's no mud available, have fields replanted with tuberous vegetables they can dig up, the list goes on.
