What is usually considered "a few days"?
I sent an email to someone on Wednesday, and that person told me beforehand that it might take a few days for them to get back at me. Well now it's Sunday, so 5 days have passed, and I haven't gotten a response. I'm worried that my email never went through and went into the spam instead. So in America how many days do people mean when they say "a few"?

Oh god, "a few days". Depends on the person. A few days typically mean 4-5 business days. Lol, if that persons few days are 7-14..

Well usually about 2-5 days but not for them

A few days are more than two, and usually 3-5. You can try emailing again, and ask, "Hey, did you get my first email?"

Americans usually mean "3" when they say "a few", but vague terms like that are often interpreted differently by different people. Like, "usually" may mean "99% of the time" to one person and "over 50% of the time" to another.
