RESET SAMSUNG SCX 4200 CARTRIDGE PROBLEM?

I follow a Vietmanist reset procedure show in Youtube " Reset SCX 4300 " to reset my

SCX 4200 starter cartridge. I tried both ver.1.13 and ver.1.18 without completely

succeed. Both softwares hanged at the last step " downloading....... " for ver.1.13

[ one hour later, it was still shown " downloading ................ " ]

or " printing (16384/982894) " for ver. 1.18

[ one hour later , it was still shown " printing ( 16384/982894 ) " ]

My SCX 4200 printer displayed [ PROGRAM UPGRADE, PLEASE WAIT.. ]

and never end. All buttons from printer panel were all freeze up at this stage.

My laser printer SCX 4200 display exactly like what in " RESET SCX 4300 " for ver.1.13 from

youtube film instruction while I ran it in DOS mode , except it never ended ( data did not

load in printer flash memory ). I tried again with the BAT. file downloaded from another source for ver.1.18 and hopefully it might go through, but it still failed to load completely 982894 bytes.

I tried many times and waited more than one hour to see it went through the loading or

not. But it still never ended. I also ran the BAT. file at the beginning without depressing

any key on printer (standby mode). DOS mode screen displayed [ printing to GDI ] ,

and few minutes later it showed [ printing ( 982894/982894) ]. That proved the

downloaded software was working.

I guess SCX 4200 is closed to the same as SCX 4300, and I also found the 4200 starter

cartridge has a built in chip board by taking it out from the cartridge where contained a small IC (8 pins) ,two transistors, two capacitors and four resistors. My SCX 4200 is still printing well after I refilled the toner, except the STATUS LIGHT shows in RED rather than GREEN, and also display

[ TONER EMPTY ] error message. I printed out the printer system data sheet where indicated the page count was reached 1400 pages. But I never used more than 500 pages since I brought it brand new from store. I also found most Samsung SCX 4200 starter cartridge has a limit of 1000 page and 3000 pages for normal cartridge. How come my starter cartridge is still able to print without STOP by the page counting chip ??

Any suggestion or any free reset software for SCX 4200 ? I searched it for days, some required payment which I doubt it might not work at all. And some forced to download its software called

"downloader" before it can be downloaded ..... but at the end, it downloaded a piece of JUNK information.

I DO NOT WANT TO BUY THE RESET CHIP BOARD.

I saw a youtube film about a chip resetter. It comes with a CD and a cable setup device to reset

the chip board by touching its terminals directly while running the reset program. I found this device from China website cost $99 plus shipping and I expect it might cost extra another $75 to clear the custom import taxes and fees. So it is also not a good idea to purchase it.
