Would you like to work towards a way to block those stupid internet ads that fill your screen?

I was thinking of making a list of known domains that carry those annoying internet ads that we all see on the side of our screens. Is there anyone out there that would be interested in working towards this common goal?

Good luck. Do you think no one has ever thought of this before (do a Google on the term "blacklist"). And don't you think the minute you block one domain, they couldn't move to another one?

Maybe you need to use a better browser. Try Firefox, and add in the Ad-Block plugin. That will solve your problem.

Download Firefox and the addon AdBlock.

it's already been done, use a hosts file and the browser will not be allowed to contact the sites that host ads , search "hosts file" on yahoo and follow the instructions
