How does $900 mil going to Palestinian rebuilding help the American economy and taxpayers?
I need help to understand, I can't put the two together logically.
Gratitude should go to the Americans that have lost jobs and homes and are having trouble feeding their children during the economic strain this country is going through. NOT to help rebuild and it's a slap in the face to Israel. Maybe that's the reason.
I'm not a lamb and I won't go down easy to the slaughter of MY country.
Instead of America paying them how about the radicals terrorists be removed
from by the Palestenians.
As a Christian I believe this
Isaiah 41:9
You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called you from the chief men thereof, and said to you, You are my servant; I have chosen you, and not cast you away.
Deuteronomy 14:2 "For you are a holy people to the LORD your God, and the LORD has chosen you to be a people for His own possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.

You are right, Israel is God's chosen, and once we "slap them in the face" then God will take our protection away. As He is doing now. We are going down the toilet and giving our money away to terrorists is not helping. The Israelis were being attacked and attacked and nothing was said, then once they start attacking back, then "Oh no, they're killing innocents, they're wreaking havoc, destroying buildings"... what about the Palestinians who were attacking them first?! They were blowing up places right where the people were! The Israelis even said that if the Palestinians would just stop bombing, then they would. I could go on, but I won't. All I know is we should be supporting Israel like we always have. Because once we don't, we'll really be in trouble. More than we're already in.

It doesn't help the American economy or taxpayers. It's a political gesture likely intended to generate good-will with the Arab world.
I don't think it will be effective and find it frustrating.
They're throwing around so much money that 900 million seems like .90 out of a dollar, but it's not.
They could fund a lot of very needed and necessary things here with it.
Ridiculous

yet another 4 years of the comparable old old... it basically manifests itself under a clean regime. NO they could desire to no longer deliver any funds out of this united states. we could desire to rigidity approximately rebuilding our very own infrastructure first. final week my motor vehicle became basically approximately swallowed up on the NJ Turnpike because of a monster sized pothole.... restore that! better yet, hire the loads of thousands who're out of artwork in fixing and repairing roads, bridges. restoration our national parks (why the heck are we reducing investment there? those areas are OUR birthright as taxpaying electorate of this united states) we could subject approximately ourselves for a transformation and enable others guard themselves. each and every so often i actually choose this united states could bypass right into a era of isolation. Now i'm peeved......

We give more than $90,000,000 to Israel in a month and call it aid. Aid for what, not for food, schools and hospitals blown to bits by Palestinians. Who gave the British and US the right to give Palestinian land to the Jews after WWII? The only way to get peace in the middle east is to quit buying there oil, look for alternative energy sources and dissolve Israel. Send the Jews to New York, Arizona and Florida where they fit right in. If they want to see the holy land, let them do it as tourists. RWScott

I believe it goes a long way in loving our neighbor and undermining the support of the unstable mindsets and ideologies which can in some strange way rationalize 9/11. It promotes the purest of values on which our nation was founded; and hence keeps many looking, investing, desiring, visiting, and embracing the hope and promise that exudes from our shores.

900 Million is just a drop in the bucket when it comes to government spending, that money will not even be able to pay the salary deficit in the PLO. this is not meant to solve any american economic problems, but rather, it is a gesture of good will.

We already give SO much money to Israel on a regular basis, why not throw some toward the Palestinians? I don't understand any of it either to be honest. Especially now when we're struggling ourselves.

Slap in the face of Israel? Israel needs a slap in the face after all the terror and inhumanity they cause. Personally I don't think we should be giving any of those countries any welfare. However, the 900 million should be deducted from 4 plus billion we send in Israel in Welfare a year not to mention Defense Subsidies.
And by Slaughter of MY country which do you mean?

Because when the Palestinians use that money to launch another offensive against Israel, the US can sell billions in military hardware to our good ally.
You have to spend money to make money!

Israel won't keep buying rockets off of the US arms dealers if there isn't anything left to blow up.
