Over the past 56 years and 14 inaugurations, no President has skipped this event - until now.
This is not Nit Picking it's concern for the country that I LOVE if change means changing the tradition of past presidents and not honoring those that are fighting for freedom now how can we expect more?
Obama wants to repeal the 22nd amendment, with the swipe of the pen more of the amendments could be repealed. There goes your Constitution!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention (I had not, of course, heard about this through the TV news media). However, are any of us really surprised? He has no respect for the military and plans to cut defense spending as soon as it is (politically) expedient for him to do so. Change....I don't believe in.

Wow! This just puts him at an all new low as far as I'm concerned. How dare he snub the very people who fought for this country? The country which he now is the leader of? This man is a complete disgrace!
Then again, why wouldn't he want to hang out with all the celebrities? I mean, after all they are the ones who helped brainwash the american people into electing him. He is just another pop icon. He's not qualified to lead a country! And he's certainly not qualified to be the commander and chief of our military personal if he is just going to snub them like that!!!

When the people find out his true colors, I hope they revolt and send him back to Chicago. He has no business being the armed forces commander in chief.

Sounds like he was too busy thinking about, "me, me, me." Just imagine how our soldiers feel having to serve under this Commander and Chief.

what do you really expect he isn't old enough yet to realize what is truly important to the country, and hasn't yet accepted that now he has to be a grownup instead of going and partying with whoever he wants to. i don't want it to look like im saying that our president isn't a smart guy, i just don't believe that he has hit that final stage of maturity where he finally sees what is right and wrong.

If we nit pic anybody, we will always be disappointed even with ourselves. Think positive and success comes your way, does not mean you won't have a stumble or set back. Lets grade him after year one not day one, week one, or even month one. He's here for atleast 4 years so be miserable or find the positives in everyone.
