More than likely, your time expired during the fight (probably right at the end) You have to defeat the butcher AND get back to Isabella before the time for case 8 runs out, otherwise you get "the facts" expired.
Note, you can still play the game after this, but the best ending is unachievable, and you cannot earn the overtime mode.
