  • Need help with this error code :stop :0x0000007e (0xc0000005, 0xf772c750, 0xf7a07430, 0xf7a0712c)?

    I have two laptops, one was a regular apci laptop, and the new one is a uniprocessor laptop. I wanted to transfer the hard drive from one laptop to the other, but i had some problms with the hal layer. I found a way around that, using Acronis true image universal restore, and am able to get the new computer up in safe mode. However, for the life of me i cannot get it to boot in normal mode, and it gives me this code every time. I am pretty sure it is a driver, according to ms knowledge base. however i have removed all devices(including hidden ones), rebooted, and reinstalled them with the correct drivers. I cleaned the registry to make sure there werent any bad remnants laying around, and still no luck. I am running xphome. Help please!
