no as the population may not like that and some situations may need force, such as breaking up bar fights and such, for the worly to be a more peaceful place it is not any religion that is needed but a change in perseption from a me and us to a we

Buddhists are allowed, problem is mankind do not think as one, specially in a positive and constructive way.

That is why a brotherhood is stronger than a religion. Jesus had a brotherhood. At least until the others got scared.

You will always find difference of opinions. Because many are not willing to accept or admit to someone's wisdom.

I guess that is what would bring a terminal solution of total destruction and resurrection. Well let us see what happens.

Nothing prohibits them from becoming government leaders. But since we already have examples, let's look to Thailand. They have Buddhist government leaders, and yet the child sex trade flourishes there. Not to mention opium use. They have crime just like every other nation. Why? Because people are people.

If we don't want war, we should elect a Buddhist. A Buddhist is peaceful, in part, because they would never run for office.

    Catch 22

Janey (below), respectfully, Buddhists do not "witness" or send missionaries to force their beliefs on others.

I think you will find there are plenty of Buddhist leaders in Buddhist countries, like countries in south east asia for example! Tard

As far as I know anyone can run for government office despite religion, we would have a more peaceful world if the officials we had were christian, "good" christians" I need to add. As it seems most politicians are leading to the ways of satanist.

Buddhists, Christians, Whateverians, no matter your "religion" you're still human. You still suffer from the human condition. Even as Buddhists, they still suffer from that human condition, and can lie, cheat, steal and be the meanest dirtiest politicians ever if the right person were elected. Humans are humans, no matter what "religion" they claim.

I dont see any Budhist run country that I would like to live in.

The best , most stable countries in the world are all either Christian or secular.

Why is it that all the people who come to our country [UK] to get a better standard of living, then try to change OUR country to the religion they have just left.
