I have Corolla 2008 and Ford freestar 2005 V6.

My Corolla idle at 800rpm when fully hot,

And freestar at 600rpm.

I want to decrease Corolla rpm to save fuel. It is running 200 more comparing to freestar.

i saw many video on youtube about ect sensor, some saying it is on thermostat housing and some show near throttle body. some says there are two sensors and some says ther is only one.

can some tell me how many coolant sensor are there actually in car?

what i learned in past is there are two ect, one show the temperature of engine INSIDE and the second show temperature of coolant AFTER passing through radiator.

but as i mention some youtybe video show one sensor and some two. :unsure:

i just learned a day ago that all the car electricity is powerd by alternator not battery. is that true? if so, so what battery is doing in car? what is his purpose except starting engine. i always beleived alternator job is only and only to charge the battery and battery take care of all the components, like spark plug, fuel pump, radio, lights, speaker etc.

Fuel ratio is controlled by mass air flow sensor so when turbocharger send more air in engine, why there is no engine check light?

I mean there is too much air getting in cylinder so it should indicate a check engine light,

Normally when there is air leak in engine, there is check engine light showing engine running Lean code something... because engine is getting more air ratio than fuel, so why when turbo or supercharger sending more air in engine there is no light? Thanks

i have 2008 toyota corolla and according to my search there is no egr valve in this car. but why? it is almost in every car and burn the gas which are not burn in engine or to reduce the temperature before reaching catalytic converter.

i have iphone and shared my location via google map by text message, he have the link to track my location, but i dont want to share. the problem is, he have the link so if click on the link in future, will he be able to locate me? me and he have internet connection and i use my iphone location everyday because i make delivry.
