First time I've ever seen it. Tried to tell me I timed out even though I just answered a question and was returning to the list of questions. Rather than "log in", I quit Yahoo. When I reconnected, it showed me as connected without needing to reenter my password, which is normal if I'm only away for a few seconds.

Every question I see these days has multiple identical answers from people doing copy and paste for the points. Is there something I don't know about the points? Getting paid, for numbers of answers or something?

Question pretty much is self explanatory. For the past week or so, I haven t found any current questions to answer in the categories where I have answered many relevant questions over the years. Even the trolls seem to have taken a break for the holidays!

Many questions posted have insufficient information to allow any one to actually answer them. Just a simple informational page that would be accessed before the posting would be allowed.

Suggestions for needed information that could be listed like computer type, OS, etc, or car make, model, year, etc. would make the questions so much easier to answer and get the people the answers they need. There are too many "My car is making funny noises. What could it be" questions that waste time and bandwidth.

I'm ignoring the functionally illiterates who ask and answer questions, as a form would not help them.

The older versions of YM gave a message if there was unopened email in my Yahoo mail account. Clicking on the link automatically opened my mail browser and connected me to my email account. The new version (Mac)gives a short lived pop up to say how many emails are unread, but I can't find any way to set an auto-open function. Am I missing something?
