  • Side Effects of Ketamine and Propofol?

On sunday night, I underwent an emergency upper endoscopy to remove some food that was stuck in my esophagus. To knock me out, they used ketamine and propofol. Afterwards the nurse informed my husband, that she has never had to give a patient so much ketamine and propofol before to keep them out.

It is now wednesday night and I'm still feeling dizzy and slighly weak! Is this normal or should I go see my doctor?

  • To Have a Baby or Not?

So ever since I was little, I have never wanted children. I think they are obnoxious, loud, expensive and require too much attention. My now husband was in total agreement; he was also scared of messing up. Then three years ago, he got me pregnant, which was not planned. Ever since then, I have gone back and forth on the decision to have children or not.

I want to travel the world, be able to do what I want, when I want. I want to go out with friends after work and possibly go back to school someday in the near future. My husband is going back to school in the fall, he wants to build a savings and buy a house. We're both slightly nervous about the amount of energy, money, time and responsibility that it takes to raise a child.

I also want to be able to experience the joy and happiness of raising a child. I want our family to grow. I want to take our child to places that I never had the chance when I was little. I want to see the smile on the our child's face the first time they meet Mickey Mouse! I want the happiness that I see my sister experiencing now with her own little one. We also wouldn't have to worry about the cost of daycare, because my mother runs one. And my husband has finally started thinking that we would be good parents.

My head is telling me to wait and my heart is telling me to go ahead and have one now. Usually my heart wins the battle, but this time I'm not sure either way. I've talked to a lot of people about this, including my husband and a counselor and I'm still not sure what to do.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated and I'm sorry that this is so long, I'm just so lost!

My husband and I are looking into moving from the US to Ireland. I have already looked it up on the Embassy of Ireland website and we are not required to get a visa to travel there, but I can't find out what I need to do to stay there. Can anyone point me to a website that can help answer my questions?

  • Wedding Card Box Stolen?!?

So my wedding is in August and I get along great with the majority of my family. The problem is that my Uncle's wife and two of her children from a previous marriage are thieves. We are not sure exactly which one did it, but all three were in the room when one of my parent's ipad's went missing on Christmas. They were the only three in the room other than my step dad, who had counted five minutes beforehand that all three ipads were there.

I have a huge problem leaving the card box out with them around. My fiance and I are already planning on putting a lock on the box, but what is to stop them from just taking the whole box. Again, it's the same problem with leaving the gifts on the table, I'm really uncomfortable with the idea. My fiance suggested that we attach a chain to keep the box in place, but I'm unsure on the idea. I don't want my guests to think that I suspect they are all going to steal from me.

How can I make sure that my cards and gifts are not stolen by someone, without looking like I'm paranoid?

BTW My wedding is in a bowling alley with two exits other than the main door.

  • Plus Ones On A Wedding Invite?

My fiance and I are getting married on August 4th of this year. We are trying to keep the budget as small as possible. The list of people that are being invited is already too long for my liking, without adding in plus ones. I would like to be able to invite all of our family, friends and co workers, but that is not possible if I let all the single guests to bring a date. A lot of the singles that are being invited are either coworkers or family, which means that they will all have someone to talk to. I also don't want a bunch of random strangers at my wedding, seems a little weird to me.

My problem is that my mother is insisting that we let all single guests bring dates, she says that it is rude not to let them. I can't afford to let them all bring dates. I'm inviting dates for the guests that are in committed relationships, but the rest just seems too much to me.

    What should I do?

  • Looking for first names to go with Wyatt?

I'm looking for good first names to go with Wyatt. Please don't tell me not to go with Wyatt as the middle name. My fiance and I lost our son Wyatt last year, so the middle name has to be Wyatt.

We like Zane Wyatt and Liam Wyatt, but what other first names do you think go good with Wyatt?

  • Family Wedding Drama?!?

So my fiance and I have set our wedding date for August 4th of 2012 and my fiance's brother has set his wedding date for September 29th of 2012. I've been engaged since last november, which his parents said they were not going to recognize, and my fiance gave me my ring at the end of June. Well a week after that his brother proposed to his girlfriend. They set their date and asked us to stay away from september, so we did. Two of my siblings are teachers, so the school year doesn't really work for us and my aunt who lives out of state works for the courts of her city; so the end of fiscal year, which is up in July, doesn't work for her either.

My fiance and I are having a very laid back Lutheran ceremony and our reception is at a bowling alley. His brother is having a very formal Catholic ceremony and a very formal reception at a reception lodge. We have been figuring things out for our wedding since last November and we decided on the colors purple (my favorite color and my grandma's, who passed away 7 years ago), green (my second favorite color) and silver as an accent. I have bridesmaids dresses ordered, along with all my stationary ordered.

I just found out today that his brothers colors are the same and now my fmil is asking us to change our date, which we can't do, or to change our colors, which I can't do either. I'm so upset right now, I have never felt like his family accepts me and I'm just about ready to say that I'm done with his family all together.

My fiance has told his mother that we are not changing and now she is accusing us of not caring about his brother. We don't feel like his family is supporting us at all, ever since the beginning of our relationship and now they don't care for our wedding and our choices. I'm so fed up with his family and I'm about to totally lose it.

Am I wrong to be upset? Am I wrong to not be willing to change to accomadate his brother? What should I do?

  • Undecided Over Wedding Colors?

So I really really love bright colors and for our wedding we had originally decided on purple, green and silver. Both my fiance and I still really love the color combination, but after doing some shopping for the wedding we decided that black instead of green would be easier to do. But I still love the idea of having green in the wedding and am now torn on the matter.

What do you think that I should do? Purple, black and silver or purple, green and silver?

BTW I have seen people do purple and green for their wedding colors and it does look really good, I'm just an indecisive person.

  • Pregnancy after miscarriage?

In April of this year I miscarried at ten weeks and was absolutely devastated by it. Now I know that having another child will never be able to replace the child that I lost, but I desperately want to try again now. My fiance on the other hand thinks that we should wait a few years to try again. He wants to wait til we have more money and better paychecks. I know that if we wait til then, that we will never have children, but no matter how much we make it will never be enough.

How do I convince him to try again now?

  • Too much Sobe Life Water?

I drink about three or four bottles of Sobe Life Water a day and lately I've been getting headaches and I kinda assumed that it was because my body is not used to all the ginseng in it. But if I'm drinking that many a day, could that be bad for me? What with all the ginseng and what not that they put in it?

  • Medieval/Renaissance/Celtic dress?

I'm looking for a website that specializes in either Medieval, Renaissance or Celtic dresses, mainly wedding dresses. The only dress that I can remember and recognize on the website is a dress that comes in both red and blue velvet, the top of the dress being a corset with a silver or gold starburst on it, the bottom being made of a white fabic that I can't quite remember.
