What do the protesters want?
the police officer that killed George Floyd was already arrested. why are they still protesting and what exactly do they want America to do?

The short answer from most of the peaceful protestors would be "stop arming the police like they're patrolling the streets of Fallujah". We're the only nation I know of that sends all our outdated military hardware to civil policing agencies. The LAPD Campus Police, the ones that patrol schools, recently got rid of a tank...yes, a tank. The shift from friendly beat cops that walked the streets and chatted with business owners (so called community policing) to these SUVs with tinted windows that carry officers who are armed to the teeth is where US policing went wrong. When our cities are treated like war zones the inhabitants tend to start to believe they're soldiers.

An instant trial and conviction is what they apparently want.
But that is not how the criminal justice system works.
The DA will need to convene a grand jury first then the grand jury will need to decide to indict the officer.
If the DA rushes this they may not gain an indictment much less get the conviction that the protesters want.
Plus the idiot State Attorney General for Minnesota appears to not want to charge the officer.
It is a good thing that the FBI is looking into this because the political machine in Minnesota appears to be trying to cover this up.
