When reporting corona deaths, why are they reporting only male and female and NOT the other 55 sexes?

Cause there are only TWO. Male and female.

Because there's just one other SEXE, and they are so rare that many countries don't acknowledge them.
I think the netherlands started acknowledging them by issuing passports with "sexe: other" last year (=2019)
Genders are a different matter

Journalism tends to simplify the information it discovers because the educational level of the public tends to be very low. In fact, research is being done into Turner and Klinefelter morbidity because it's been difficult to work out why death rates are different in females and males. As a trans woman, I recently took part in a brief research questionnaire on my Covid-19 susceptibility precisely because I'm trans. It was conducted by 23andme. So the answer is that they are looking at others and collecting statistics, but they need to present a clear and simple message to the public.

Consider it lucky if they at least do the autopsy well enough to confirm a corona death. You wanted more precise demographics? They don't have time for that.

They are reporting based on sex as they should, not new PC definitions of gender.

Isn’t it time for med?

Just to be a pendant, sex is the physical expression of chromosomes, GENDER is the cultural construct applied to sex and the one you're trying to get riled up about.

there's no way to keep stats on things that don't exist.
