Why does my Hersheys have two expiration dates?
I just bought this hersheys today (1/1/20). Does it expire in May this year, or did it already expire?

It doesn't expire at all!
I would expect there to be a best before date somewhere but how long do you want to keep it? Didn't you buy to eat?
Added, I don't see anything in the picture explaining what the dates mean so I can't really give an opinion. As Clive said, food doesn't “expire”. If I was really interested and there was no best before date anywhere and no explanation as to what these dates meant then I'd take the later date, October 2020 to be the best before date. Obviously the earlier date couldn't be a best before date.
Like I say though, what does it matter? Why are you wanting to keep it?
