What do you think of Goose Gossages comments about the current stateof baseball?

Plenty truth told by Goose, but that's what is really about. Average age of fan 56? Nerds hurt the game? Nerds are the reason the average age is ONLY 56. Fantasy sports is the only reason baseball is not the new hockey. Go to 6 innings. Let there be ties in season. Shorter schedule. Less batter and pitcher times while in play.
Take me out to a ballgame that does not include an hour drive, parking and walk to my seat. One where a dog, 2 beers and pretzel does not cost the same as a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse steak. Where I have to leave early to beat the rush. You're talking an 8 hour day for a little entertainment.

I completely agree with his comments about Lyin' Braun. That pr!ck should have been banned for life.
As for the comments about Baustista, players today are egoistic, self-involved douche bags and things are only going to get worse.
You've got criminals in the NBA and NFL primping and posing after almost every play and baseball players want to do it, too. I expect we'll see more of that type of thing in the coming years because it's what our society will tolerate. It's inevitable and there's nothing you can do about it, so accept it.

He sounds like a bitter old man. Which is a surprise, I remember him as a bitter young man.
