"Work" just went #1 on Billboard, giving her 14th overall #1 hit and surpassing Michael Jackson's 13 #1s. Now 4 short off Mariah Carey who has the most as a solo artist.
Her music to me as always been a little generic, mainly benefits from this modern taste. It's not that memorable. Is she of the same calibre as those other legendary artists ?

No but she's interesting. Whoever her producers/musicians/writers are are the real stars. I really like several of her albums, but I don't think she's a very good singer or dancer or even performer. The melodies tho are infectious.

She's never been a good singer in my opinion or has fantastic songs. She just has a few catchy songs is all
