Yahoo is much too eager to unfairly penalize answerers who have committed no offense, and never responds to appeals. Why?
I don't want phone numbers.
I want a posted answer form a Yahoo employee.

Firstly you will never get any employee in this section. This is a major misunderstanding that has never been addressed.
Only public users visit this section. Secondly there is no phone or customer support or any such thing because free user may not even be considered customer by the giant Yahoo Inc.
As for appealing, I agree that responses aren't there. What you can do is appeal second time using help page link that someone provided above.
If you do not hear any appeal and you are absolutely sure it was false report, you can email Yahoo answers team with that evidence. That's valid reason to email them (that there exists false reporter). They can look up who reported and penalize the false reporter or take action if those reporters keep hitting false.
I have been here nearly 9 years and lately I have been hit with a bunch of false reports that even the trusted members will agree it's false (point jealousy was the cause). I had to turn in those reporters to YAT at Y_answrs_team@yahoo.com
Now the main answer to your question -- it's not Yahoo but users that report. It's community moderation. Employees do not ever report anything. That's another misunderstanding many have.
The reason no response for appeals maybe that there is no manpower to handle millions of appeals. Yahoo will not hire appeal staff for the free users

First, the phone number is fake (it's just a spambot they don't care if you want to see it or not)
Second, nobody who works for yahoo will ever see this (since EVERYONE in here is a USER)
And third, as far as reports and trying to overturn them I have found that email is usually the slowest and least reliable way to get people to look at them. If you need to appeal something try the help form instead. I've gotten appeals APPROVED in a matter of HOURS using that instead. JUST MAKE SURE THEY ARE LEGIT APPEALS

Because you need to remember that when it comes to appeals yahoo is VERY cheap and unfortunately do not have that many employees working this site to cover the thousands of appeals they probably get every day. They probably just do a quick scan through most of them and if the reports look even remotely legit they just keep moving. Which means you probably don't stand a chance of hearing anything from them with yours if the were anything like some of the posts I'm seeing.
Because I can see that on a number of questions you've answered recently that you could very easily be reported for since you've given very useless answers on them.....like with the question "My jvc camcorder stuck in safeguard mode EO4. What do I. Do?" your response was simply "Ask JVC". And on others it's "Ask ICOM", "Ask the school" , "Ask TW", or "Ask the manufacturer",etc.
If the posts reported were like that, then it's not surprising they got reported cause posts like that are DEFINITELY violations and could be reported as BOTH non-answers for being so useless/unhelpful AND as point-gaining/cheating because you put absolutely no effort into even trying to help them that some people might think you just said it to get the 2pts. Which in those cases would be fair which means that if the people at yahoo saw them, they would probably not even waste time on you no matter how much you tried to appeal or argue it.

It's not Yahoo doing that. It's other members. My guess is that you are being reported for "non-answers." Here's a very simple way to understand the difference.
Question: "What's 1+1?"
Answer: "I like pizza."
That is not an answer to the question. Wrong answers are not violations. So if you said, "3," your answer would be acceptable.
Looking at your answers, you have lots that are violations as non-answers. They are pretty much the same as “Google it.” Examples include: “Ask Whirlpool,” “Read the owner’s manual,” and “read the instructions.”
As for not responding to appeals, my experience is that using the alternative appeals link will get you a faster response.

Here's perhaps a better example, because it applies more to your pattern of answers:
Question: "Can I charge a 14.4V Black-and-Decker battery with an 18V Black-and-Decker charger?"
Here, a legitimate answer would start out with something like: “Yes…,” “No…” or “It depends on….”
If all you said was, “Read the instructions,” you are NOT answering the actual question being asked.

I feel that way too. Its because of trolls. On 99.9% of my questions, I never get a factual, sought out answer. People are usually here to judge you and make fun of your questions. I mean the internet does consist of a bunch of lazy, bored people. I guess thats how trolls become trolls.

Overzealous reporters report valid answers, appeals sometimes work, sometimes not, that is why the overzealous reporters report, there is a 50-50 chance or less it will win a if appealed,

Often times when they seem to deny your appeals, they don't message- rather just when they choose to appeal them. I have more luck personally sending them e-mails.

They have thousands of users. Your one issue means nothing to them. Even if they lose you as a user, they have thousands of more, and new users being created every day.
