Thoughts on these names?

Luke Faolan and Demi Calypso

I'm in love with these two currently; how would you pronounce Faolan? I say it 'fah-oh-lahn' but it seems to have lots of different pronunciations.

I suppose technically you can pronounce it however you want, but it's an Irish name which is pronounced as fwail-awn that comes from the word Faol (pronounced Fwail) which means Wolf, and Faolan was also a character in the legend of Finn Mac Cool.

I don't like nick names as names so I don't like Luke or Demi. Lucas Faolan is pretty awesome though. I like the name Demetria, which can be shortened to Demi, but I think it's too much of a mouthful with Calypso. I would use Demetria and then something shorter for the middle name. Demetria Claire (or Clare) would be nice.

I love love love Demi Calypso! I love the name Luke. Faolan? It's pronounced fwail-awn. When I say it, I sound like I'm tongue-tied. I want to love it, especially since your other choices are so outstanding. But I can't love it. If you love an awkward name, use it as a middle is my motto, and that's what you've done. So rock on with your bad self! Use the names you love. Best wishes and God bless.

Luke sounds cute and classic while Faolan is unique. As well as Demi Calypso. Hope it helps! :)
