Does God allow a Christian marriage to fail?
Does God allow a Christian marriage to fail if it was out of his will to begin with? Obviously there are too many variables to discuss here and the internal dynamics of each relationship is different, but just generally speaking will God bless a marriage born out of his will if both people are trying to serve him?

A Christian marriage is similar to health---if you do what is right, eat healthy, exercise, get enough R and R--still no guarantee that you would be disease free.
A Christian marriage involves the will and efforts of two people mutually so, and similar to Samson and Delilah or Saul who persecuted David relentlessly, God will not put a hand in a human relationship--simply because the two people were ordained to be together.
As much as those two were appointed by God--their human flaws allowed them to be failures--although God did appoint both of them--their ugly came in the way of their success.
This is a mutual relationship--and the same way we work out and eat healthy--there is no guarantee that the two mutual humans may stay on the same page, long enough til death do us part.
Some marriages exist and do have til death do us part pathologies, in most cases for another reason outside of the marriage: shame, pride, fear, familiarity, family, kids, denial, fear did I say fear etc--and the two people MUTUALLY agree--sometime verbally or just by staying there in that marriage relationship--sometimes hatred, death, unhappiness, hurt feeling, confusion all are a result of not moving on--two human beings living together--has to be mutually willing to stick it out, the good, the bad and the ugly--spiritually, from a realistic point of view.
God DOES NOT allow failure--humans do.

God does bless those who are true worshipers of Him...and marriages of course because God instituted marriage with Adam and Eve.. However, due to imperfection, many marriages fail, even some among true Christians today.

1) It depends if the people are really trying to serve Him in wholeheartedness and truth, or just in behavior. Are their hearts really repentant (on the whole, not just specifics) which is also related to if they really have Holy Spirit or not.
2) I would be shocked to think otherwise, especially since God hates divorce, but God has blown my box on other similar issues. Judge for yourself, with God, what He did and didn't say in Mathew 10:
34 “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I have come to turn
“‘a man against his father,
a daughter against her mother,
a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law—
36 a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’
37 “Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Where are you getting that it's God's will for a marriage to happen?

Of course God doesn't exist - so he has a hard time intervening in peoples' lives.

God 'allows' 21,000 children to die every single day through easily preventable causes because he is too busy ensuring that every single snowflake is unique.

He's probably a little pissed, but then again if you don't like GOD's rules you can always find ways to outsmart him. This is one of the great failures of religion is that nobody in their right mind can actually follow GOD's instructions to the letter, so you just have to find a way around it.

PEOPLE make mistakes and get it wrong, not God. If a couple were true Christians their marriage simply would not fail.
