There is no way to determine what is the most believed lie unless you conducted a survey/questionnaire.
Various people will tell many different lies and therefore it's hard to tell which is the most believed lie.
For instance, someone could say 'Oh, I never said that', whilst another individual could tell a lie such as 'No you don't look fat at all'.
Lies are told for many different reasons, such as lying about someone's appearance just because you don't want to lower their self-esteem, lying to help yourself out of trouble (like criminals that know they're guilty but tell police a different story to avoid arrest) and many other reasons.
But in response to your answer there is no way to determine what is the most believed lie.
Hope this helped

That people think that people thought the world was flat before Columbus discovered the Americas.
Actually we've known the rough shape of the Earth for maybe thousands of years. Columbus discovered that the planet is bigger than earlier estimates.
He wanted to travel to India and China by sailing West, as opposed to the usual route East. Everybody told him he was crazy and he would die in the attempt, and they were right. If it weren't for the continent in the way, he would have had to turn back or be lost at sea.

The lie that flatters people is almost always believed.
For instance, rich people in our society are encouraged to believe the economic system gets it right all the time and that they are rich because they are so much more clever than everybody else.
Very few rich people don't believe that, including those who are born into it.
