At what distance is the coaches station at Ashford international?

I am going to Eastbourne and I live in France

Is it possible to buy such a ticket by internet or am I sure to get one once I get to Ashford?

thanks

There are direct trains from Ashford International to Eastbourne, every hour at 33 minutes past the hour. It is the Ashford-Brighton service, and the journey takes a little over an hour. You can buy tickets via the internet - I suggest you use Southern Trains site to purchase the ticket:- http://www.southernrailway.com/ You will have to arrange to collect the ticket from the automatic machine which means you will need to have the card with you that you used to pay for it.

Get a train from Ashford to Eastbourne, it's easier.

There is a coach drop-off point situated next to the main entrance but there are no direct coaches to Eastbourne. Buses also require a complex journey.

It is probably easier to go by train.

You can check times here: http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/

You are going from Ashford International (AFK) to Eastbourne (EBN).

Once you get on the Eastbourne train at Ashford you don't have to change trains again and it will take just over an hour to get there.
