Car radio connector reduction?
I have got myself car radio (there was none in a car when I have bought it)
But the connectors differ. car has antenna connector and two others:
Black http://i.imgur.com/ewW6BBZ.jpg , http://i.imgur.com/4KqArYD.jpg Which judging by two fat wires and bunch of small I believe to be power and external control.
Brown one: http://i.imgur.com/2pPPaoL.jpg , http://i.imgur.com/SGs9ikU.jpg which based on 4 pairs of wires I guess to be speakers (no sub)
while radio: http://imgur.com/RcTWb67 has only the Athena, two classic phono connectors it claims to be for rear speakers http://i.imgur.com/1WUQT9O.jpg and one big socket I assume to be for everything else: http://i.imgur.com/mOUB0on.jpg
I do not care much for remote controls but I see no reasons why radio couldn't use standard low performance factory fitted speakers and be powered by usual 12 Volts
Question:
What are the connectors called ? so that I can get a reduction. I am happy to crimp...
Solved-ish
It turned-out that the ones on mine "Golf" Are standard "ISO" plugs and the ones on radio are Kenwoods own
solution is http://www.amazon.co.uk/KENWOOD-16-PIN-CONNECTOR-A...
Still want to know weher mine opinion about which plug is which is correct...
I answer questions frequently, so I know what helps on answering

You need a wiring harness, both for the car, and the radio.. Either go on Ebay, or a car audio shop, and enter your vehicle's information ( It looks like a Saab, by your shift knob, but I'm in the states, so it could be different) And Soldering, with heat shrink tubing would be your best way to make your connections.. Thanks for the pics! they are always helpful!!
Good Luck!
