Can you ripen an advocado by putting it?
Could you ripen an avocado by putting it in a microwave oven? I thought I heard something of this but don't know if it would work.

Yes you can.

It makes them soft enough to cut and scoop out- but they don't taste very good.

I put and hard avocados in a paper bag with an apple, bananas work to but I do not eat them, overnight the ethylene gas given off by the apple/banana will soften it it, most avocados ripen in this time 2 days at the most, putting it in the microwave is only going to heat it up or maybe explode, I would not.
