What do you Americans think of the French presidential elections?
I assume I will get a couple "We don't give a damn", but I'm asking to those who follow it.
Just as a reminder, it took place today. Our new president is François Hollande, from the Socialist Party. Do you believe it's a good thing? What did you think of President Sarkozy?

I think it's bad for France and for Europe (economically). Sarko would have been a better--though not ideal--choice.

i'm an American and that i've got been following the election. i could be torn between Sego and Bayrou. in this around, i could probable have voted for Bayrou. I actually does no longer vote for Sarko. he's largely a French talking George W Bush.

I think the French should have elected Marine Le Pen.
Both of the other candidates are in favor of the ongoing genocide against the French, and against all European peoples.

The French tend to be self asorbed, arrogant socialists. It's their country and they can do what they want but it proves that the French are more concerned with being taken care of than free. This is exactly the mentality that made them so easy for the Germans to walk all over.
Why are there so many trees in France? Germans like to march in the shade.

Honestly I don't care. Only french-american will give a damn. It doesn't concern us. Unlike America the world cares because we are the most powerful country in the world.

Honestly, I do not give a damn. Not my country so I do not have to put up with anything there.
