This is a scene from a middle school playground. Kyra likes Shia, Kyra doesnt like Lily because she likes Shia, Lily jusst dont like Kyra, and Kyra almost thought that Shia liked her, but she catches the two kissing under a tree. She is just realizing that her hopes are over, for the boy doesnt like her. A windy fall day, Check it.

Everyone gasps.

Lily- Uh..

Shia-(uncomfortably rubs his neck0

Kyra- I suppose i would never know, huh?

(silence)

Kyra- (turns away, wind blowing her hair)

Kyra- I really thought....I honestly couldve swore- ...

Shia- Swore what?

Lily- Wait-(chuckles You really thought that he(holds up Shia's arm) this boy right here, liked you? Are you serious?*whistles* Wow. Uh thats- disturbing, haha!!

Kyra- Shia.

Lily- (continues laughing)

Kyra- (gulps) Shia

Lily- (Laughing louder than ever) Oh my God she thought..She..He..HAAAAAAAAA!!!

Kyra- (Crying) SHIA!!!

Shia- Lily shut it giv her a second would you!!!!(Angry)

Lily- (siliently giggles.)

Kyra- I couldve always swore. But that fact that i couldnt swear to my Dear Lord Heavenly Father on it means i guess i might have had some clue to the unfortunate truth that we share none of the same feelings what so ever.

(silence.)

Kyra- I dont know why i couldnt have been born as one of those girls who have a firm grip on reality. Who knew there was no easter bunny. Who knew that santa couldnt have ever been so. Who knew where babies really came from. Who knew you wouldnt find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Who knew that this one boy shes loved forever doesnt even like her back. But i wasnt born that way, because i used to have faith in all of those things.

(Everybody looks ashamed)

Kyra- But no, i take that back. (wipes tears.) Without all those beliefs, my innocense, my childhood, my happiness wouldve been revoked. What do you possibly hav to worry about at that age BUT those things? It was so beautiful, and with that and so much more i believe this is what has shaped me into the classy, kind, beau- uh,- yes, beautiful young woman i am today. Even if SOME dont agree.

Shia- Kyra, i....I never knew-

Kyra- You never care to knew. Did you Shia?(bites lip.

Shia- *silence*

Kyra- As i thought. And so, with that, it is with a heavy heart that i release you shia from all of the wonders and beauties of my like. I release you into greater-

Shia- Kyra!

Kyra- Better, probably prettier,( tears flow faster)

Shia- Come on

Kyra- Girls. Im releasing you to what has never been. But in my mind itt has.(Turns and starts to slowly walk away)

Kyra- Farewell you two. I wish nothing but luck to the two of you.

Shia- (crying) Listen!

Kyra- Why do lonely hearts long for the ones they dont deserve?

Shia- STOP!!!!!!!

Kyra(turns around and stops) Yes?

Shia- Look, i get it... But be honest, even if you deserve better, and i dont like you(cringe) do you want wat Lily has with me?

(very long silence(

Kyra- Yes.

(walks away, wind blowing her hair)
