Travelling ,Is it fair or not?

Why is it super easy for citizens from rich countries(Europe, australia, canada, usa nz..) to travel wherever they want? Whereas for those from crap countries(like mine , mauritius) we need to through long visa procedures etc..

Let me give you an answer pertaining to Europe since you have selected the European travel section for your question.

The Republic of Ireland is the only country in Western/Central Europe that requires Mauritian passport holders to apply for a visa prior to travel. All other EU countries enable visa free travel provided the traveller holds sufficient funds to cover the stay [€42 - €100 (1625 - 3875 Rupees) per day, depending on the country] and an onward/return flight ticket.

The only other countries in Europe that require a visa in advance are Albania, 3 former Yugoslavian countries [Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia] and 5 former Soviet Union countries [Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia].

Not all people who travel are rich. A vast amount (probably the majority) travel on credit. Credit cards, loans and some are thrifty and save for a long period so they can go somewhere else.

As for it being super easy that is mainly due to those kind of countries having a basic democratic government. But then it's not always simple for us to go to countries like China, etc as we have to apply for visas and pay extra.

Unfortunately people from "crap" countries have a habit of not leaving rich countries, trying to work illegally, smuggling drugs, smuggling people, trying to have babies in rich countries, failing to disclose serious medical conditions (and then going to hospitals for expensive treatments), getting passports despite serious criminal convictions, committing crimes while visiting, not having enough money to stay or leave, immediately filing immigration or refugee claims, carrying certain diseases, etc. All of these have a huge cost in terms of social services, law enforcement, etc. Whereas, people from the rich countries don't tend to do these.

However, in most cases, if a rich country imposes visa restrictions, that country typically follows suit. There are lots of "crap" countries which westerners need visas to visit -- Egypt, China, etc., etc.

And what right to you think you have to travel to another country? If China declines my visa or makes me jump through hoops to get one, I either jump through hoops or I don't see China. I'll go somewhere else or stay at home. If you don't like the process, go somewhere else.

That depends entirely on what country you're talking about, and whether you're talking about travelling to a country to live there permanently, or just for a holiday. In terms of the former, it's not as easy as buying a plane ticket and flying over, there are long, complicated procedures for every country, not excluding richer countries.

The reality is that few people from Europe, U.S.Canada, Australia and similar places with high standards of living will ever choose to stay illegally in other countries that they visit. people from countries with lower standards of living are far more likely to stay in a prosperous country illegally. Americans do not need a visa to visit Mexico. Mexicans do need a visa to visit the U.S. Guess Why? Americans are not known for staying in Mexico illegally. Sorry to say, there are many Mexicans staying in the U.S. illegally. Each country has the right to make their laws as they like...and as they feel they need to to protect themselves.

You forgetting that many citizens in what you consider rich countries don't travel because they are not rich enough..

And many from crap countries have no intentions to return once they arrive in these so called rich countries.

Life's not fair. get used to it...
