Is 'lucertole' an accurate translation for 'lizard'? Or is there a better word in Italian for a small lizard?

La LucertolA is a small green lizard (lucertole is the plural).
In italian language other words like that are Geco (too big) and Ramarro (not green).

yes, that's the right word, and I can't think of any others
lucertola = lizard
lucertole = lizards
una piccola lucertola = a small lizard
