Deus Ex: Human Revolution, FPS or RPG ?
I am on it now, almost 4 hours on, and really hard to say it's an FPS, extremely RPG, so what do you think about ?

People generally associate FPS with multiplayer, which often does not really have a developed story line or characters and solely focuses on shooting things (Or avoiding being shot), maybe with some stealth, strategy, or non-shooter aspects mixed in.. The fact is they aren't 2 separate types of games. RPG just means you are stepping into the role of the character through a plot rather than dictating various elements. FPS just means its a shooter viewed as your character sees it. Most if not all single-player FPS games are an RPG.. it is really more of a debate as to where the developers put most of their focus and how well developed the characters, story, shooting mechanics, etc are.
In short it is both, but you can tell a bit more effort was put into RPG elements of the game.
