My kind of gloves - where do I find them?
Searched the net to no avail...
Looking for a good, old fashioned set of gauntlet gloves - rabbit lined.
Found some lined dress gloves, found some unlined riding gloves.
Can't seem to find the combination I want.
I know there are a bunch of insulated gloves out there, but I want the old-fashioned stuff.
3M can't beat mother nature in some things.
As if you could be, Chris. Candid, yes. AH, no.
I'm actually trying not to do it myself, or have it done.
Not only is my wife a more than passable seamstress, I have my own machine as well.
Supplies are easy, as a co-worker's brother is affiliated with Tandy Leather.
Heated grips are nice, but do nothing for the backs of my hands.
I electrified my my thin gloves - warm knuckles are great. I now want even better.
Thanks guys.
No luck with the surplus yet, John.
That was my first hit, BFL - but thanks for the effort.
James, what can I say....besides that I'm glad we understand each other.

I know what you mean: I had rabbit-lined gloves years ago, and there's nothing like them. Sorry, haven't seen them in years.

Not trying to be an AH but you may need to take up hunting, trapping, tanning and sewing to achieve your goal.
You might try at a local seamstress and/or taxidermist for insight on who might still make them.
Good Luck in your quest!
