Would you ever tell a guy you is only a friend to you, even if this is not true?
I chose the best answer based on the fact that the answer exemplifies a common trait of the female sex species. Faced with a question with a mild ambiguity, they will try to blurt out an answer that is neither an acceptable response or a compromise. But will still give a reply that will reward themselves with the satisfaction of having issued a counter response.
And that, my co-members of the male sex species is how women win arguments.
To the other ladies who have made the time to give a truthful response. I thank you for your effort at honesty.

Personally no, because I prefer always being honest with people (a small lie nearly tore my frienship group apart, so i've learnt my lesson!) However, it is perfectly fine to say "I do like you as more than a friend, but I don't want to be in a relationship right now" or something like that. Because, if you do like him, then it probably shows! Good luck!

Yes, it all depends on where the guy is going with the question he's asked !!

i might tell a guy thats we were only friends even if i liked him yes.
if i thought our friendship was more important, or if my friends didnt like him, or if i thought i needed to get to know him better, then your answer has to be yes

i wouldn't but it depends on the situation, if his friend asks me do you like the guy and i don't like this friend i would deny it, but if i was close friends with the guy i like, i would say that i do like him.
