    For tax purposes? No.

Unrelated persons can not qualify you for Head of Household.

Head of household, according to the IRS means:

    1. You are unmarried or “considered unmarried” on the last day of the year.

    2. You paid more than half the cost of keeping up a home for the year.

A “qualifying person” lived with you in the home for more than half the year (except for temporary absences, such as school). However, if the “qualifying person” is your dependent parent, he or she does not have to live with you. See Special rule for parent , later, under Qualifying Person.

You can get more information on this by going to www.IRS.gov. When the main menu comes up, enter "publication 501". When publication 501 comes up, go to the section called "head of household"

No. Head of household status is for a parent raising their child on one income.
