Is a 23 on the ACT a good score?
I want to attend the University of South Carolina-Upstate or some other school in SC, will a composite score of 23 be good enough to be accepted?
I have between a 3.5 and 3.75 GPA and I am either 13th or 14th in my class, will a 23 be good enough?

Honestly, if your GPA and class ranking are good, your test scores won't bring you down too much.
You're obviously a good student, so just be sure to blow them away with your essay, and you should be good.

answering directly to your question, a 23 is just above average, but I wouldn't say it would get you into school. Though, because you have a decent gpa and class rank makes up for it. I know there's an Oct ACT test date coming up so register and study for that as hard as you can.
