Is NASCAR the pinnacle of motorsport for you ?
I am not from America, and I don't know a lot about NASCAR ;)

That one hundred percent depends on one's definition of "pinnacle". Many American auto racing fans have no idea how popular F1 is worldwide. Nascar is king here. F1 almost literally gets zero media attention here in the US. Before I started watching racing, I could've told you lots about Nascar, I may not have even heard of F1. In my opinion, Nascar is the pinnacle of stock car racing; and of racing within the US. F1 is the pinnacle of motorsport period. Personally, I love both.

In terms of what I watch, yes. NASCAR is indeed the pinnacle. But there are waaay too many forms of amazing racing that I have yet to discover that it just wouldn't be a fair reason to tag it as the pinnacle. I love motorsport, period.

Let me give you this: NASCAR used to be #3 in my tops. NFL and NCAA Football use to be 1 and 2 but since the Colts let me down in the super bowl (yes I am or was a huge Colts fan) and College football my favorite team got their a** kicked out of them in a bowl game and football just doesn't click with me anymore like it used to, I tried to get back in it but couldn't so NASCAR was the only sport I had to turn too. And Fortunately they accepted me. I was a NASCAR fan all the way back as I can remember. But this year is the Biggest year I have ever and I mean ever been into NASCAR.

Yes, Nascar is the only racing that I consistently keep up with. There's no other motorsport out there that provides as good of racing as stock car racing.

It depends on who you ask. Personally I think NASCAR, with its high media intention and big fan base, is one of auto racing's biggest stages because of its bigger audience. Also the fact that more and more Indycar and Formula 1 drivers are making the move over to NASCAR would make me believe that too. It really depends on what type of motor sports people are a fans of and what types of presence it has in your area.

NASCAR is the only motorsport that I watch on a regular basis. All others, I watch every now and then depending on the particular race or who is racing. I use to watch NHRA more, but not so much any more. I started watching IRL only to watch Dario, Helio and Danica.

NHRA Top Fuel Dragsters are the quickest accelerating land vehicles in the entire world by a large margain. Not to mention that there quicker than a fighter Jet launching off of an aircraft carrier.
Describe Pinnacle!

Yes. The only other series that I have an interest in is the IndyCar Series, and I rarely watch that.
NASCAR is the pinnacle of racing in the United States.

For me, Formula 1 is the pinnacle of motorsport due to it having more technology, higher running costs, bigger salaries for the drivers, and a bigger audience watching every race. But I am not American and am not really a fan of NASCAR, so I can't really say.

Ive enjoyed NASCAR racing for over fifty years but things seem to be changing in the sport. I still have a soft spot for sprint cars and WOAs but they closed our local track {Manzy} so it's hard to keep up them.
Source(s) : The big wigs in NASCAR better take off their ties. As far as Manzy's dirt track, I think somebody was money hungry.
