My 10 month old daughter has a fever pimple ?

It started two months ago, she had a bad flu and sour throat...Everybody was sick to see her suffering like that...Then she had that little red button on her right upper lip...As we live in tropical country I sincerely though about a mosquito bite...Then it came back...same spot, even my uncle noticed it...My mother asked me about it ...Now it appeared on her lower right lip...a little more wider ...

I don't know if it's a fever pimple...or HERPES ???

HELP !

Mise à jour:

to Robert: she is teething and suckles her pacifier a lot ...even though I boil it in hot water do you think it can carry germs ?

Its a fever blister which is Herpes. Nothing you can do to cure it. She will have it for life. If however her breakouts are frequent and take a long time to clear up, there is medicine the Dr. can prescribe to help lessen this. The good news is everybody is different, and the longer you have it the less you break out. I would be more worried about how she got it.

A fever blister is a form of herpes . you should have it checked for sure .

If it is herpes simplex boiling her pacifier and teathing rings should be ok , a little campho-phonic may help but it tastes bad it may be a bit strong so use it lightly and don't put it inside the mouth .

You need to have your daughter checked out by a doctor.

if she is around other kids, it is probably scool sores. Take her to the doctor !
