Why wasn't LeBron called for traveling on the play where he took the french fry?
He tapped the ball twice before it came to the floor.
When he intercepted the pass, that was a brilliant move. But as he approached the midcourt line, he appeared to touch the ball twice while it was over his head. It didn't look like a carry to me. He was in contact with the ball for a very short time.
Overall it was a very entertaining play, especially with the fan interaction.

When its about entertainment, especially with Lebron's stardom, they cant make calls in that situation.
Because there is an expected spectacle after Lebron is at the other end of the floor which would be considered a highlight reel.
Remembered if its a loose ball fast break, refs calls a foul on Lebron, even the Home Town (even from different city) would jeer the referees since they want to see LEBRON make a HIGHLIGHT.... except if it is in the playoffs.
Remember Stars like Jordan, Kobe, Wade also committed this fault, traveling at fast break, yet they are also not penalized. Referees are being lenient to the Superstars of course since that what draws GAMES... and in the end, the audience would remained satisfied and happy to be able to watch such spectacle.

had more of a chance of being a carry... he actually ran a step or two without putting the ball on the floor, but one could argue he didn't have full control. It did look like a carry. I laughed, that kid was very generous, even gave lebron a high five, after he stole a fry...

Debatable whether he actually had control of the ball. You're also allowed to take as many steps as you want in between dribbles. I can dribble on the spot and dance if I wanted. As long as I don't carry it, obviously.

cause if he did then he would have started bitching like normally when he doesn't get his way
