Parcel shipped from the USA to Canada. Will there be any duties?
I want to order somthing online. I live in Canada, and the item will be shipped from the United States. It's the first time I order something from outside Canada.
On the website, it is written that the item will not be declared as a "gift" to the customs. Does that mean that thre will be duties to pay? If yes, how much, approximately?
Thank you !

Duties depend on the item and country of MANUFACTURE (not country of export which is the US).
You can see the extent of variation in the Canada Customs Tariff here:
http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/trade-commerce/tariff-t...
If it _is_ manufacturered in the US or Mexico, there is usually no duty per the North American Free Trade Agreement.
On top of this, you will pay GST and PST, as well as a small brokerage fee to the shipping company ($8-35)

this relies upon on the cost of the object and the class. often,, in case you're paying for something from the U. S. and it rather is under $a hundred you do not might desire to pay accountability - yet that may not the case. Your superb wager is to telephone Canada Customs and ask -
