Dads hate to change diapers !!?

How can you explain that regular Dads that are willing to do other Baby chores without peeping a word or fussing litterally run when the diapers are needed to be changed ? What if Mom is not available ? LOL !

Mise à jour:

to Kel : LOL, Everytime there is a diaper alert he runs out of the room or the house ! It's like the baby had a desease !!

He told me it is more then he can bare to give him a chance !

Mise à jour 2:

to Lisa C : I wish mine could do the same !

Congrats for your wonderful children, I'll make him read your answer and explain to him that it is a natural process of parenthood !

the whole time i was pregnant my husband said he wasnt changing a single diaper if i was a round and only would if i was at work and then he changed out sons 2nd diaper and changed most of them the first couple days after i had him. and now he has no problem with the diaper changes he even changed his nephews diaper for the first time a few weeks ago. but dont get me wrong he will still try to hand off some of the changes just because he doesnt want to get up.

LOL. My hubby used to say that he wouldn't do baby stuff or change diapers or carry around a pink diaper bag, he was even disapppointed when he found out we were having a girl.

Now, once she was born, a whole different story. He changes her diapers all the time. Sometimes, I even hand her off to him if I know she's got a stinky (teehee).

My hubby learned very quickly that parenthood involves all aspects of parenthood. He now even helps pick out her clothes at the stores & he helps to feed her at night all of the time.

Explain to your hubby that you cannot do it all alone. I think that once my hubby had to help watch her when I went back to work opened his eyes alot to what I do, so he is more helpful.

My husband never moaned about changing our baby's diaper. He wanted that girl so bad I bet he would have pushed her out himself with his boy parts if he had to. He was always checking her diaper, making sure my expressed milk was warmed in the sink with hot water and never in the microwave when my mom was around (she believes the microwave is an easy way to heat a bottle) and if she even had a hint of wet, daddy was changing her bum. She never had a bad diaper rash. Spoiled rotten from the get go. All I had to do was pump breastmilk, her daddy did the rest. Even got up for her 4am feedings even though he had to leave for PT at 5:30am.

completely wide-spread! My son stronger this hate of diaper exchange quite undesirable whilst he chanced on mobility at 9 months. Ever because of the fact this is been a nightmare changing him. Now at 15 months he's getting extra advantageous for transformations, yet there are cases that he kicks, screams, cries. He'd plenty particularly in simple terms stay on the circulate circulate circulate! I sing to him, make stupid faces, communicate in a calm voice or hand him a toy to distract him. This helps at cases.

Luckily I do not have that problem :) My husband is a stay at home dad so I can honestly say he has probably changed more diapers than I have :) At least with this baby anyway.

I didn't have that problem luckily.

I really thought I was going to.. but hubby turned out to be a pro at it!!

A friend of mine got her hubby (to change dirty nappies) by telling him that he probably would be no good at it anyway. Next change time he "just had" to prove her wrong :)

    Good luck =)
