Does anybody know the name of this band?
They were German. They performed in the late 70's or early 80's. Part of their name translated into English was "shards", as in broken pottery or broken glass. Their style was sort of hard rock. Their lyrics contained social commentary. A German friend played them for me, but as I didn't understand them, I didn't follow them much. Now I would like to check them out again. Thanks
Thanks Dr. D. Ton Steine Scherben is the band I was looking for. I was googling scherbe and only got die Scherbe; a middling house band. I also like Scorpians and Hammerfall.
