DXM and Dimenhydrinate, is there a risk?

Is it dangerous if I take Dimenhydrinate (GRAVOL®) to help me cope with the nausea that is sometimes associated with an overdose of Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide?

P.S.: I'm not trying to commit suicide by overdose, just to get high on DXM.

A low dose of an antihistamine (say 100mg of dimenhydrinate) is very safe assuming you tolerate it well by itself.  Larger doses of DXM (7mg/kg and up) require greater caution when mixing drugs, but I myself have used 100mg of diphenhydramine/Benadryl (~200mg of dimenhydrinate) for a ~1700mg sigma attempt.

With larger doses of antihistamines, there is a considerable risk.  This is the problem with Coricidin.
