how can i keep the dogs away from my house?
i am living in compound away from the city , there is a lot of dogs hanging around the houses especially at night , and they are so disturbing to us since they are barking all the night long, and when my husband tried to push one of them away , they tried to attack him. what can i do to keep these dogs away from my house , thanks for any suggestions .
i am living in third world cuntry so no police no animal control to deal with such issue i prefer some thing that i can manage by my self...
such smell or voice or food or any thing please help..

Get a pet tiger. Dogs won't fight a Siberian Tiger and the dogs will make good food for it. LOL Solution - A gun. Never try and chase them off. Dogs are a pack animal and will attack in packs.

Take a cue from Cool Hand Luke...sprinkle hot pepper powder near the dogs...when they start sniffing they'll snort a bunch of red hot pepper powder and you'll hear them crying and whimpering.
You can also try some high frequency noises that only dogs can hear and bombard the dogs all night. It'll drive them mad, and you won't hear a thing.
Best advice...call the cops and report the noise violation.

Call the animal control agency in your city. You should be able to find their number under "Animal Control", or, call the information telephone number to your city's police department (don't call 9-11 unless someone actually gets bitten) and ask the police dept for the number to animal control.

Some places sell an air horn that makes a loud noise. I use a stun gun, you don't actually taz the dog, the sound sends them running. I think, but am not sure that the smell of moth balls might keep them away. www. missouri scenic rivers .com/ bad dog foods .html

Call your humane society or the aspca they can pick up the dogs and get them to a good home.

If this is a pack of dogs and don't belong to anyone I would call animal control.

go to a pet store and get a gadget that sends out sound signals which repels dogs- they sell them for different ranges

Buy another dog :D

Or you can spray vinegar where ever they hang out .
they hate the smell, ive done it before
