What can I buy a knife in NYC?
I dont mean like a knife in kitchen, i mean like a switchblade or a butterfly one. And if you can name a place that sells to under 18 ppl that be great.

those are illegal to carry but easily obtainable.
try a fleamarket, a bazarr, some corner stores sell them. but flea markets and or street vendors are your best bet.

Although many states have not made switchblades illegal, New York has. So the only way to get one would be to find a criminal selling them, and become a criminal by buying one.

Switch blades and butterfly knives are illegal in NY and in every state in the union. Unless you are active duty military, fire rescue or law enforcement and then it is still hard to buy them.

Im not so sure the knife will appreciate the gift considering its a knife.
